History

Compass was founded in 1980 in Sweden by Olof Söderblom, who pioneered the application of complex models to performance metrics to enable insight into the root causes of performance problems and improvement in operational efficiency. Early clients included Volvo, L M Ericsson Data AB, and SKF Dataservice. These and other businesses established the foundation of what is now a worldwide database of performance metrics covering all aspects of IT and business operations.

Since its inception, Compass has built a global network to engage with businesses around the world.
